THANK YOU!
Last year over 300 community members joined us for our Friendraiser and helped raise over $44,000 to support programs and services for students.
Examples of programs and services we offer:
- Good Samaritan Readers: Students in 1st-3rd grade struggling in reading are paired with adult tutors once a week.
- After-School Math Tutoring: Students in 4th-6th grade struggling in math are paired with high school students and adult tutors twice a week.
- Weekend Backpack Program: Students are given food for over the weekend every Friday.
- Mentoring: Students in need of a caring adult meet with our site coordinator in group or 1:1 settings.
- Attendance: Site Coordinators monitor school attendance and create interventions for chronically absent students.
- March Gladness: District-wide community service event where students are given the opportunity to give back to their community.
- Annual School Supply Drive: We collect and distribute schools supplies to all 32 schools in the Puyallup School District.
