As a community, a city, a school, a classroom, a team, we are only as strong as the weakest link. Communities In Schools of Puyallup helps to level out the playing field so that each link is a little stronger and more encouraged to stay in school through tutoring in math and reading, as well as through providing food over the weekends for kiddos who might otherwise go without. Children tend to be a product of their circumstances. When we can come around them as a community to support them in this way, we are creating better spaces for all of our kids to learn in the classroom, participate on teams, and become future community leaders.
